The ingredient list, in full
A NICE can contains Maine purified water, natural flavors, citric acid, and nano-emulsified hemp-derived Delta-9 THC. That is the whole list. Each can is zero sugar, zero calories, zero carbs and zero sodium, is gluten-free and alcohol-free, and is naturally flavored.
What the label discloses
The label states the serving: 5 mg of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC per 12 oz (355 mL) can — the only strength NICE makes. The THC is hemp-derived as defined by the 2018 Farm Bill, meaning it comes from cannabis containing no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight. Products in this category are not evaluated by the FDA, which is exactly why the label and the lab paperwork behind it matter.
Don't take the label's word for it
The way to verify a THC drink is a certificate of analysis from an independent laboratory — the document that reports what was actually measured in the product. NICE publishes the certificates it currently has, including the measured Delta-9 per can, and our guide walks through how to read one line by line on any brand's paperwork.
Who should skip THC drinks entirely
THC is intoxicating and is not for everyone, and no ingredient list changes that. Do not consume THC drinks if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare professional first if you take medication or have a medical condition. If you are subject to drug testing of any kind, do not consume THC — it can cause a positive test. And NICE is sold to adults 21 and over only, stored away from children and pets.
So are they 'bad for you'?
That is a health question, and we do not make health claims in either direction — these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, and NICE is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. What a careful brand can do is publish the full ingredient list, a measured 5 mg serving, and independent lab certificates, then let you and — where relevant — your healthcare professional decide. That is the standard we hold ourselves to, and the one worth demanding from any THC drink you pick up.
